In order to strengthen cultural exchange between Chinese and foreign students and to show the unique charm of Bashu culture, a series of activities entitled "Getting to know a city" was successfully held at 9am on 18 March 2023. It was hosted by the West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University. The event attracted more than 30 international students and Chinese students.
Ms. Zou Ling, Vice Minister of Academic Affairs Department of the West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University and Ms. Midoji attended the launching ceremony. After the self-introduction, the students went to the Chengdu Jinsha Museum for a tour. They also experienced making masks at the Sichuan Opera Face Changing Mask Workshop.
Through this activity, Chinese and foreign students not only experienced the unique charm of Ba Shu culture, but also deepened their understanding and knowledge of Chinese culture, actively promoted cross-cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign students, cultivated deep friendship, and further promoted the excellent Chinese traditional culture to the world.
