Founded in 1896 in Chengdu, China, Sichuan University consists of three campuses: Wangjiang, Huaxi, and Jiang'an, where the faculty staff and students gain easy access to complete teaching, learning, and academic research facilities in a beautiful environment. Sichuan University offers a complete range of 12 disciplines, covering literature, science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, law, etc., and boasts multiple state key laboratories, research bases, abundant teaching resources and a strong faculty team. The university ranks top in China in such research areas as natural sciences, engineering technology, humanities and social sciences, and medicine. In 2024, Sichuan University ranked 150th in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and 98th in ShanghaiRanking's Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). According to the latest Essential Science Indicators (ESI) data released in March 2024, Sichuan University's seven disciplines -- Chemistry, Material Science, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Engineering, Computer Science, and Biology & Biochemistry -- entered the ESI global top 0.1%, and its 21 disciplines entered the ESI global top 1%. The university currently has over 38,000 full-time undergraduate students, over 31,000 master's and doctoral students, and nearly 3,000 international Students and Students from HK,MC & TW of China.

1. When to Apply
Application period : from November 1st,2024 to May 30th,2025.
2. How to Apply
(1).Applicants applying for Chinese Government Scholarship should follow the requirements listed on the official website of China Scholarship Council (CSC, https://www.campuschina.org/) and login on the website of SCU Overseas Students Office (https://global.scu.edu.cn/oso/) to submit application documents required by Sichuan University.
(2).Applicants applying for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship and China Studies Program should file online applications according to the requirements by Center for Language Education and Cooperation (http://www.chinese.cn/) and login on the website of SCU Overseas Students Office (https://global.scu.edu.cn/oso/) to submit application documents required by Sichuan University.
(3).Applicants applying for other programs should login on the website of SCU Overseas Students Office (https://global.scu.edu.cn/oso/) for online application within the required time.
