Atomic Energy Scholarship of China
Program Information
The Atomic Energy Scholarship of China (AES) was jointly initiated by the China Atomic Energy Authority and the Ministry of Education of China in 2017. From 2023 to 2027, we will continue to cooperate in the implementation of the "Chinese Government Atomic Energy Scholarship" program under the framework of the "Silk Road" scholarship.

(1) College of Physical Science and Technology：Nuclear Science and Technology, Nuclear Engineering;
(2) College of Chemistry, Chemistry， Radiochemistry;
(3) West China School of Clinical Medicine, Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, Phymatology, Medical Technology.
Scholarship Funding Period
Master’s students: 3 years;
PhD students: 4 years (Medical Technology 3 years, Phymatology professional degree, 3 years, other majors, 4 years).
The duration of the Chinese Government Atomic Energy Scholarship is determined at the time of admission and generally cannot be extended.
Scholarship Content and Standards
The same as the CSC scholarship.
Application Procedure
Applicants can access the official websites of the CSC (www.campuschina.org) and of Overseas Students Office, Sichuan University (https://global.scu.edu.cn/oso/) and submit an application. The application period is from March 15, 2026 to May 20, 2026.
