When you change your studies such as suspension, retention, transfer or withdrawal, you must cancel your visa or residence permit issued by Sichuan University and change it to a 0-stay visa valid for 1 month, otherwise the university cannot approve the change of studies.
Note: Don't be careless when your residence permit expires, it can become an illegal stay!
Expired visas or residence permits, no accommodation registration or expired accommodation registration are all considered to be in breach of the relevant Chinese laws and constitute illegal residence, and will be subject to severe penalties such as warnings, fines of 500 to 10,000 RMB, detention and even deportation by the public security authorities, depending on the seriousness of the situation.
