Museum
Being one of the museums dating back a long time in China, Sichuan University Museum is the earliest museum that has been established in southwest China. It has a history of over 100 years and has collected artifacts of all sorts. There are approximately 85,000 artifacts at the Museum, including stone carving, painting, calligraphy, ceramics, bronze ware, ancient coin, ancient seal, and embroidery among others. Its signature collections of painting, calligraphy, ceramics, artistic carving, and artifact related to ethnic minorities and folk customs enjoy a repute in the museology circle of China.
