PART 1 Scholarship Details and Standards
"Study at SCU" Outstanding Student Scholarship
Undergraduate Students: Partial scholarship, up to a maximum of 20,000 RMB/year.
Postgraduate Students: Full scholarship covering tuition, accommodation subsidy, medical insurance, and living expenses (master’s students: up to 2,000 RMB/month; doctoral students: up to 3,000 RMB/month).

PART 3 Applicant Eligibility
Health Requirements
Applicants must be in good physical and mental health (no infectious diseases or health conditions that could affect normal studies).
Age Requirements
As of September 1, 2025:
Undergraduate applicants should generally be 18 to 22 years old.
Master’s applicants should generally be under 30 years old.
Doctoral applicants should generally be under 35 years old.
Academic Requirements
Undergraduate applicants must hold a high school diploma.
Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree.
Doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree.
Academic Ability
Applicants should demonstrate strong academic performance and learning capabilities.
Language Proficiency
Applicants must meet the required level of Chinese or English proficiency for the respective program.
Nationality Requirements
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport. Applicants who were Chinese citizens and have been naturalized into foreign countries shall meet the provisions of the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Regulating Work Related to the Acceptance of Foreign Students by Domestic Colleges and Universities (JWH [2020] No. 12).
PART 4 Application Dates
First Round: November 1, 2024 – December 24, 2024
Second Round: December 25, 2024 – March 8, 2025
Third Round: March 9, 2025 – April 23, 2025
Fourth Round: April 24, 2025 – May 30, 2025
Note: The application system remains open during winter holidays. As scholarship spots are limited, applicants are encouraged to apply early to increase the chances of acceptance and scholarship awards.

2.Scholarship recipients are selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of academic performance, language proficiency, research potential, and personal qualities by the Scholarship Review Committee. The final recipient list will be confirmed by the committee, and scholarship admission notices will be issued to awardees. Recipients must participate in an annual scholarship review to determine their eligibility for continuation or reinstatement.
3.Recipients of this scholarship may not concurrently receive funding from the Chinese government or other domestic organizations.
